    What to do after trading?

I'm going to help out needy prostitutes by paying their rent.

    Most annoying word in trading...

Oh, man! You lost me after the first paragraph. Honestly, I'm not even going to read all that ****. I don't care what it says. You clearly took things way too personally and blew them way out of proportion. All I have to say is I'm sorry for whatever wrong strings I pulled with you. Now get off...

    Most annoying word in trading...

Actually, I think I'm being very humorous in my disregard of self-important pricks everywhere, real or imagined. You need to differentiate between dead-pan sarcasm and lack of humor.

    Most annoying word in trading...

Nope. I've been using the word "amid," not the shortened version of some self-important prick's name. And I'm not going to watch my back. If he want's to kiss my ass, he can do so without warning. I won't mind.

    Most annoying word in trading...

Hmm, I don't know who Ahmid Lybonier is but neither he nor the Saudi prince whose knob he polishes occupy any position in my world, and thus I care not what he thinks about this or any other of my transgressions. :)

    Most annoying word in trading...

... is "amid." I am so sick and tired of seeing this word in every bloody financial news release. Prices never just move. They always move "amid" something! Amid concerns. Amid speculation. Amid worries. Amid credit crisis. Amid get your head out of your ass and expand your friggin' vocabulary...

stop-loss in a gap with td ameritrade

A stop market order is the same as a triggered market order. It turns into a market order when the price reaches your stop-loss. I would use a market order just in case because it eliminates an extra step and it also prevents the scenario you described in your OP - namely the order failing to...

stop-loss in a gap with td ameritrade

Use TradeTriggers. If LAST trade is equal to or less then your stop-loss, then activate a sell order at market price. Your order will execute after the very first trade that posts below your stop loss. There is no way to trade within the gap but you can at least exit at the first available moment.

Insight into what goes on in the City...

My biggest reason for getting into trading was to AVOID being chained to cubicles, schedules, deadlines, bosses, clients, and all the bull**** associated with rat-racing. I trade from my patio, sipping long island iced teas, looking at the ocean, taking breaks when I want and for as long as I...

I live in Southern California. The sun shines every day here. Why am I not a millionaire yet?
