re tightened stops, personaly i use the same level of stop loss regardless of size of position. as for the smiley, it means im happy about having a better then 50% win rate.

i guess what you're trying to get at, also depends on the size of your positions...for example its ok having 10 wins out of 10 on 10000 shares, but that can be wiped out with a couple 50k positions...speaking from experience of course :lol: so saying 10 wins from 12 is not all that accurate as...

i maybe wrong, but i doubt many people would have caught that move (both legs), though the trades can be seen easily now with hindsight. i have to say cable does seem to give more false signals then most the other pairs, the euro dollar isn't any better, but a bit better then cable if you know...

pointless effort though, stopped out at break even. should have realised it was just stop hunting. nfp days have become so dull, they have been for a while now. i guess it has been taken over by fomc days :lol: good trading everyone.

i would assume the average day/swing trader doesn't make much, afterall this profession has a 90 odd percent fail rate (or so i'm led to beleive). but i'm sure there are some day/swing traders that do very well. and they do well because they have found an edge. imo don't worry about what returns...
