Ton of money to be made on FX 5 minute binaries?!!! With spreads now opening at 16 - 18 pts . . . I don't think so!

IG have introduced 5 minute binaries on the GBP/USD and EUR/USD. Lovely extra wide spreads :thumbsdow Look like a cash cow for IG IMO! Anybody had a punt?

All bets delayed - up to 5 seconds. No re-quotes just rejections.

Yes - the inactivity fee pissed me off so I deactivated my account just prior to incurring one. At least they emailed me a warning that the fee would be applied.

Not surprised they've delayed you . . . but after just 4 weeks! I managed a couple of years profitable binary trading with IG but since they delayed acceptance of my orders I can no longer make consistent profits. In fact, I'm down since the delays were implemented over 6 months ago. It's hard...

IG will eventually delay acceptance of your binary orders should they deem you're winning too much.

Why not try 5 minute FTSE or Dow binaries? Good volatility in a matter of seconds.

tar - your reply shows you have missed the point! I am querying why IG changed the opening level of the 20 minute binary part way through the 20 minute period. The opening level is determined by IG not by Bloomberg prints.

Yes. No doubt IG has inbuilt programming which functions akin to the Virtual Dealer software that delays order acceptance and re-quotes prices.

Um. Bet365 suspended betting on the Dow range bet @ 20:50 (as opposed to 20:59 with IG).

"Probably" being the operative word! I've been watching the Bet365 Dow close range grid - and it's changed. It was showing 25pt bands but is now showing 15pt bands so one can't always completely close out a bet.

Could one not place an additional bet for the same stake in the opposite (yes/no) column to the original bet to take profit/loss at any time?
