The author messed up and you can download this for free from that site. You just need to work out what directory it is in. Basically it's not a loophole at all, its a very basic greyhound laying strategy.

The trouble is Betfair are aware of this and it's against your T&C's so they will likely close your account even if you could be bothered to attempt it.

The loophole has already been closed by Betfair who now round down small amounts, the result, Betfair have boosted their coffers.

I guess you are playing dumb on purpose as every trader knows that your need a positive expectancy regardless of your win %. I'm not sure what your point is to be honest.

The answer is simple, all prices in a betting market are definately related. In a stock market they are not necessarily related. As Paul says, there is also a lot of volatility and this can help get your order filled. I can get astonishing fill rates, near 100%, without any skill, but of course...

I've seen something that does this but of course you wake up one morning and it's all changed again because something changed on the site. I think it's a lot of hassle really for uncertain reward.

I agree, these guys want to manage their book so providing an API doesn't help them achieve that. You can try Betfair but the liquidity is not sufficient for serious trading on the financials.

This was all discussed several years ago. The reason there is little money in these markets is because somebody with a faster feed keeps picking off poor pricing. Very difficult to make money if somebody else can see the future.

I moved up the scale till I had the fastest feed possible without signing an exchange agreement but it was still not good enough. So somebody on those markets was obviously using something very close to the market. That fact aside the liquitity has never really got going, perhaps linked to this...

That fact aside binaries are actually not that difficult to price so I made a market on Betfair for some time. What I noticed was that somebody with a much faster feed kept picking me off, so I stopped. Anybody attempting to do the same thing will encounter the same problem IMHO. Much better...

The trouble is liquidty is terrible on Betfair. I used to lurk over on the financials but there is just not enough money on the financial markets.

Because they are bookmakers I would think they would be likely to restrict you but I have no personal experiance of this.
