Hindsight is a wonderfull thing, kicking myself on RDSB, see what happens when all the excitement of a merger! dies down. Personally think its brokers having a laugh, cant see two egos as big as BP and RDSB ever agreeing on anything. Up 48 points as I write.

    The FTSE 2006

A precautionary rise in order to limit the chances of more agressive rises later in the year....or so some economist the BBC talked to reckons. Either way it kicked the market hard, Dow looks unfazed though, interisting to see how things go tomorrow once the dust has settled, looks a bit...

    The FTSE 2006

UK Hero you do sterling work here and as a newby to trading the index I count this thread as a must on my "research". Personally I favour a bit of a fall back for the moment due to the holidays and a bit of profit taking after the rapid advance of the index over the last two weeks. Once that...

Just wondered DBTR if you are keeping these longs overnight or taking them strictly on a day basis? Must say Im tempted by a small long at 5710 but am wary of a pull back tomorrow due to a bit of possible profit taking before the weekend.
