    Support and Resistance help

Ok thanks. I was looking at a signal near the top resistance where sellers started to change the direction. I added the chart here, do you think this signal is valid? I did watch it live and it would have worked - but just wondered if any others would have used this as a signal to sell?

    Good CFD provider?

I was reading up on DMA which seems a better way to trade over OTC. But this is only available on shares, if you are trading indices like I hope too - you can’t trade DMA. Therefore, there are two options; trading OTC and knowing that you are trading with a broker or trade futures instead. If...

    Money Management Help

Ok, so if I am trading the FTSE100 at 5883.2 (£58.83) So my stop loss should be 5873.2 (58.73) As each point is worth £1 - this would then mean I have £10 of risk per trade, right? If I trade more then one CFD: If I was trading two CFD's then I would risk £20 (2 x £10) therefore my stop loss...

When trading CFD's how do you work out profit/loss?

    Ok thanks I understand this now. The point is worth £1 with the broker I am using. So therefore, (5800.0 - 5879.0) x amount of CFD bought. (5800.0 - 5879.0) x 2 = profit/loss

    Good CFD provider?

Well I have not traded Spreadco yet. I have used the demo and the spread for the FTSE100 is about 1 point - so I think that is reasonable? I think the problem is I want to trade in and out fast and take some profits and because the spreads are 1point, some shares are 1-3 points plus - it makes...

Learn2Trade in the Evening With a Small Bank

Trading stocks with a small bank by the time you pay commission - you would need a massive increase in your shares to just breakeven.. you could look at trading CFD as you dont need to put the full amount of the price up just a margin. But you might have a problem with your trading times.
