I am Canadian and used to open accounts at US brokerages in the 90's. Is this not still allowed, ie why limit to the ones actually in Canada? I ask as I am thinking of opening an account with Interactive Brokers (UK based I think) and trade futures with them. I assume this is allowed but let...

I like to listen in sometimes to various services to get a feel for other trading methodologies. And I will sometimes sign up for a trial, paid or not, and am willing to pay a monthly fee. But I really hesitate to pay thousands for a 'method' or training that will make me a 'trader', as I know...
