Do you think a stock broker that charges $1 commission is a good business idea?

so i am just thinking to create a brokerage/website where orders will cost a fixed $1 dollar. I know there are many expenses/problems, etc. I am just asking if you think customers will be attracted to such thing or they will stick to known names like etrade, scottrade, etc. 10x!

    Covered Calls

Well my 2 cents: - If you don't know enough about options, go and learn. - Covered calls won't make you rich unless you have huge amounts of capital and try to pocket on say 20% per year. Even then covered calls have huge risk involved. It works this way: People hope and pray the stock will...

A broker offers no spread in EUR/USD?

It seems they don't match any trade...just trade against you...like a...bookmaker. Which is bad. And...to...

A broker offers no spread in EUR/USD?

So...i cam accross some FX brokers which offers no pips and no commission on eur/usd - while charging just one pip on all other pairs...including gold. Also...no commissions for CFDs, just some spread. Does it sounds like a ponzi? They don't seem to be DMA right? With such prices i don't think...
