UNG - NAT GAS - Other ETF relatioships

Hi, I'm hoping to better understand the relationship between how some of these ETF's are coupled to their underlying. In particular, I've been watching NAT GAS. UNG, the ETF for the front month NAT GAS future is supposed to (as is my understanding) try to match the percentage movement in it's...

Newbie option returns (how are you doing?)

Hi, Why not give non-directional limited risk strategies like iron condors a try. You won't have to watch them constantly and you will limit your losses. I see you mentioned TT. They are a fantastic resource. Spend your spare time there and you will learn a lot. Good luck! Paul

Newbie option returns (how are you doing?)

Hi, Thanks. Actually now at 4.03% percent, though I'm sure that can change quickly (down!). Not sure what was meant by the 'set up 'thread'. I've nothing to sell, if that's what was meant. I do not know anyone else that trades (it's a lonely but enjoyable hobby), so my question was an honest...

Newbie option returns (how are you doing?)

Hi All, I am an options newbie. I've been actively trading for the last couple months. I am looking to gauge my progress/success vs others in the current market as I have no idea if this is reasonable return or not ( to me, coming from 0% bank interest, it's obviously a fantastic step in the...

    Stock option scanner/screener

Thanks. Been testing livevol last few days, but it's missing some fundamentals for me. It's pretty cool, but I can't even say 'show me stocks that have risen 10% last 30 days'. Seem to be a simple but hard to find facility, along with any sort of option data such as IV. Anyone else have any...

    Stock option scanner/screener

Hi All, Despite looking everywhere I can find and exhausting Goggle, I cannot find a stock screener with these simple requirements (IV % not being catered for on most). I do not mind paid or free as long as it's reasonable. Does anyone know of a screener where I can screen on Implied...

    Options Software: OptionsOracle - alternative?

Yes, I have the code and even converted the IB handler to VB. It's good code. C however is not my area of expertise and I found it to time consuming to sort. A person with good C knowledge and a keen interest in Options however, it'd be a different story. I'm making the most of Hoadley tools...

    Trading Futures in the UK

I'm in the UK. Not clear if it's US or UK options you are looking to trade from here. If it's US options you are looking to trade, I use an IB account. They have no issue with UK clients. Fine for order entry etc., but don't expect too much on the analysis front.

    Options analysis/simple portfolio management software

Hi, To make my trading easier, I'm looking for a decent set of basic software tools. In terms of analysis, the best working one I've bought so far is Hoadley tools for Excel. It clunky and manual and you have to set-up each trade manually, individually. Not efficient, particularly when...
