Was introduced to the Emini market in July of 2008 and have been obsessed ever since. I have run my own financial planning practice for 12 years so I do have the liberty to trade every day, although it would be considered part time. I trade only the ES from 9:30 to 11:00 (US), and will only take 1, maybe 2, trades during that time. If I do not get the setup I am looking for, then I do not trade.
From October of 2008 through December of 2009 I placed over 250 trades, and am pleased to say that my account started at $10k and ended 12/09 at $9k. During that time period the account was as high as $17k and as low as $8k. Two days in particular stand out that I consider a "blow-up", mistakes have been noted and will not happen again. I am persistent to succeed with this. I have traded every day in 2010 and am off to a very good start!
The biggest tip I could give from my little experience is let the market tell you where it is going to go, and be very, very, patient!
