BetOnMarkets selling our contact details to junk mailers

He might be committing a criminal offence under Chapter 2 of the Companies Act 2006 for failing to disclose his address on a business letter. http://www.opsi.gov.uk/acts/acts2006/ukpga_20060046_en_71#pt41-ch2

BetOnMarkets selling our contact details to junk mailers

I'm sure it's illegal to send junk mail without a return address which is what these clowns are doing.

BetOnMarkets selling our contact details to junk mailers

I keep getting junk mail from Vince Stanzione and Michael Hein with "exclusive invites" to make a "fortune" and other such nonsense. It could only have been BetOnMarkets that sold these scammers my contact details. Thanks a lot BetOnMarkets - you'll never have my custom again. Anyone know how...

    Evening trading US shares

I suppose it depends what timeframe you trade. I take it you look to scalp a few ticks intraday. For a swing or position trader it's worthless. As for which one leads the other, I think it's too heavily arbitraged by guys in the pit with PDAs for someone sitting at home listening to a squawk to...

    Evening trading US shares

I'm glad it works for you but here's my experience with pit noise vs volume analysis on ES and YM: First time you hear a call "Merrill comes in a buyer" and the price goes up you think "Wow! I've got an edge" but then you realise Merrill and Goldman are trading on behalf of clients so could be...

Well I was trying to help you out but you're obviously too clueless...

An example of what? Do you know what ES is? The volume of ES compared to the pit contract is available on the CME website. April's ES volume was 20,398,744 compared to 614,552 for the S&P500 pit contract. Looking at an ES chart with volume is a lot more reliable than listening to a bunch of guys...

    TwoWayFutures

That's what I'm saying, TWF are agents for futuresbetting so you may as well go to futuresbetting. The benefit of futuresbetting/TWF over other spread betters is direct access to the exchange. In terms of cost you're much better off with a broker like IB (who I'm with at the moment and love) but...

All you're hearing is volume in the pit. You're far better off looking at electronic volume in the ES, which has far higher liquidity than the dying pit anyway.

Thanks for the explanation - it is crystal clear. I'll probably check out futuresbetting seeing as they are now offering the same 4 point spread deal. I can't see any real benefit to TWF over futuresbetting.

I take it you're listening to one of those pit squawks. Total waste of time and money IMO. Relax, it's just a 50% pullback of a 2 week rally.

Scalping - Which Technicals to use?

Scalping stocks is the best way in the markets to lose money. It's you against the market makers and programs. Guess who wins?

I'm still a bit confused here. I trade mainly Dow futures with IB at the moment. The spread is generally one point and you can see the best 10 bids and offers on the DOM. Let say the current best bid/offer is 13625/13626. TWF's best bid/offer would be something like 13623/13627. So if you placed...

    TwoWayFutures

I was wondering how that worked. Can you see the bids and offers on the DOM display in the same way you can with a "normal" broker? If so how would FB make money if all your orders were limit orders (as mine generally are)?

Globex is free with the US bundle. I used to spread bet but now I can't imagine not trading directly on the exchange. It's a world of difference compared to the bookmaker crooks of IG. Then again IB is definitely a self-help broker so check out the UK website and spend a while gathering the...
