thx again.. but I found BT quite OK with FMT.. as a matter of fact I run BT on some actual recent trades and they mostly match.. but agree generally BT not to be trusted.. maybe a good first filter for various setups.. will look into getting tighter spreads.. less then a pips sounds so good even...

so here are the reasons why forward testing can be so significantly different to back testing.. unfortunately EA stopped trying to close this trade after 3 attempts and actual hard target was missed by .5 pip probably due to wider spread :-( +5 at BE sounds even more enticing now:-) 2012.06.20...

OK.. maybe let's not wait a year.. so after a bit of back testing.. going into forward testing now of the following settings (25-25-18-0) on both (12:00 NY) and (13:00 NY) with spread of about 2 pips.. BTW what's your spread hammy?

and sorry for spoiling this celebration party but if someone wants to see really bad results try dropping both 18 and 5 to 0 and back testing it past few months just on TP 30 and SL 35 at 12:30GMT :-(

hi everyone, I'm new here.. and must be beginners luck today as it hits double jackpot and that while forward testing it too.. however I'm just wondering why is everyone insisting on running this EA at 12:30 or even 12:45 with those params as according to my back and forward tests it...
