    In an ideal world the broker would eat the loss, however ultimately you are responsible for your own account. Sounds like you screwed the pooch on this one

    spread requiremnts on a day trade

    My broker claims that if you are long an option overnight, leg into a spread intra day, and closed the short leg same day the DT requirement is on the uncovered req. not the spread. I think this is incorrect, anyone else have similar experience
