At the beginning trading was for me just a single minded quest for money.Gradually I discovered that it became something more ,a quest in a broader sense.At this point I ve also stopped considering myself a "trader"per se .I think that what I (strive to) do -like others who I ve met along the way- has more in common with design or engineering.A friend of mine infinitely wiser than most of us ,once called it "cloudshaping".I think that it has more than a nice ring to it.You see I believe that what we occupy ourselves with , has more to do with that age old game of recognizing shapes in those clouds above us.Another childish way of extracting order out of chaos ,I guess.
Maybe the alchemists of old used to do exactly the same thing.
This time though we are searching for alchemical gold in bits n bytes.Or for a Holy Grail shaped out of fractals.....
