I am playing with Amibroker demo and I am trying to see is this program can handle multiple open positions at the same time. It is not clear from the manual that it can do it and how. Does anyone know? I am trying to test this feature with a simple system like, buy next open if C > close of 3...

Why do you buy trading software from ebay? Was the seller authorized by Equis? You are facing the serious risk of spyware or trojan backdoor implanted. They can be watching every move of yours, stealing your passwords, even executing trades while your are asleep, etc.

This translates to an approximate profit factor equal to: (4.15/6.26) x 0.6977/(1-0.6977) = 1.53 Meaning that for every dollar lost you make one and a half dollars. Not good enough. I wouldn't trade anything with a profit factor less that 2.00 minimum.

Thinking a signal service can make you money? I used one in the past but only to do the opposite of what they recommended and made money but unfortunately they went out of business as expected.

Hi Pat, I know use APS with 15 minute forex bars and I have some excellent back tests. I will be using the software for real time trading soon. I have figured out a way to use the scan function real-time on 3, 5, 7 and 12 minute bars.

I agree when this regards just one central bank. But when there is a political decision at the G-7level and that many central banks are involved then I believe they can move currencies any way they like. Some people make the mistake to think that the daily Fx volume of about USD 2 trillion...

It's a mistake to look at fundamentals for currency evaluation purposes. Everybody would be rich if fundamentals conveyed any valuable information for forecasting exchange rates. Currency exchange rates in G-7 are political decisions. Remember the Plaza and the Louvre Accord...
