CFD's are illegal in the US and Canada, if there was a way i would of found it. I opened an account through a family member living abroad, but this a a bit complicated, funding the account must come from the account holder (none us or canadian) therefore i had to transfer funds to my his account...
I do know a few US citizen that do trade CFD's mostly trough family abroad, not under their own name. Now im looking into opening a company in Eastern Europe a phony one, just the a name this might give me access to trading CFD like "dstock" mentioned.
Please explain further if possible. Company on who's name? to my understanding its even hard to fund a CFD account using a US/Canadian bank branch. All answers will be appreciated.
Not by a long shot, and keep in mind that Options have expiration dates and the further out you buy them the more expensive they get. while CFD's don't. Not having a choice in the matter Option and Futures are just as good. Plus its hard to compare the two, two different instruments Options...
