I use a broker with 1.5/5 stars on FPA. I suggest trying the hypothesized broker out for yourself--getting some direct experience--and not basing your opinions on the reviews. Reviews have a tendency to be misleading, particularly when you're working in the shade ;)

Its my humble opinion that sometimes its worthwhile to deal with scam brokers. I can think of a few with whom I've dealt. One such had awesome customer service, automated deposits and withdrawals, a slick website. It was all gravy till they disappeared one day. Just know what you're getting...
