Daxjockey I forgot to mention that when I collect tick volume data, its for a basket of currencies... So if I was looking at the Eur/Usd pair, I would collect tick volume for a basket of eur currencies and on the opposite side a basket of usd pairs... I suppose its a similar concept to those...

you could try a 30 day trial of market delta with infinity futures as your datafeed (30 day trial) .. that way you can collect tick data using market delta for the ftse futures

i focus on the markets from an intraday perspective and look at internals like advancers vs decliners, advancing vs declining volume and tick. ( you could take this to the next level by creating custom internals) If i trade the sp500, I also look at dow and nasdaq100 for confirmation or divergance.

musicgold you also want to look at market internals along with sectors if you want to read the trend and health of the market.
