Agreed! Many years ago I used Telechart 2000 and it had the capability to backtest multiple moving average combinations. Wish I still had it today.

You can check price crossing a variety of moving averages. Just enter "1" in the fast moving average box and a number of your choosing in the slow MA box. A one day moving average is not really a moving average, just daily prices.

That's a great tool for the users of moving averages. I would like to find the best pair of moving averages on a particular issue. Would it be possible to add a button to increase or decrease the short and longer moving averages. The idea would be to quickly find the most profitable pair...
