The futures appear to create more ticks because your chart for the Dax index is not calculated on every single price change. If the system were able to do this then there would be far more ticks on the Dax 30 as it would marginally change every single time one of the 30 component parts moved...

this is data that you cannot get for free. If you go to a data vendor (reuters/bloomberg/morning star) you will be able to ask prices. as a private client it is not that expensive but not that cheap either.

the product is DMA 'functionality'. The word functionality was originally brought in for clients who want to trade in sizes of less than the (often quite large) contract sizes on the exchange. These clients trade on the exact Exchange prices but their trades do not actually impact the exchanges...
