    Oanda historical spreads - Really?

For some reason I pasted the screen shots to a word doc and now I've copied them to paint to get it into an uploadable format. Not as clear as I would like it but hopefully it can be read.

    Oanda historical spreads - Really?

Oanda, as you would understand, like to promote their competitive spreads and one of the tools they use is the historical spreads they display here http://fxtrade.oanda.com/why/spreads/recent And "In keeping with our value of transparency, OANDA publishes our spread data in an...

    risk reward and targets

Not making money since I'm not trading. I have no intention of placing trades until I've nutted out my strategy, back tested and forward tested. Now, I haven't heard of the evolving R before. I've done a bit of poking around and will read up.

    risk reward and targets

If the ratio is greater than 1:1 or 1:10 you can be making good money but not if your strike rate doesn't measure up.

MT4 Strategy tester - toggle time frames

It appears what I should have said is "open multiple charts for back testing". Anyway it looks like it can be done but I have to work it out.

MT4 Strategy tester - toggle time frames

I'd like to do some manual testing on the MT4 strategy tester. I'd like to look for setups on a daily chart and then take a look at the hourly chart. Is there a way to switch between the 2 while using the strategy tester?

    risk reward and targets

I've signed up with EODData.com to get the EOD data but there is a fly in the ointment. Sometimes, but not always, they quote prices for saturday and...

    EOD trading 24 hour market

I'm interested in "end of day" trading the Fx which runs 24 hours a day. What I'm trying to work out is where should I mark the end of my day and how to set up the time zones on trading software. Is it best to mark it at: a. midnight in my time zone (gmt +11 hours) b. when the market closes in...

    IG Trade Sense

They don't have the Index spreadbetting here any more, their website says they discontinued it because of the success of the CFDs side of their business. I'll chase up the UK site and see what they say.
