    When people talk about yields, are they referring to the gross redemption yield, or are they referring to the current/running yield? Yes it's a newbie question...

    If you do the CFA, while the 3 years is tough, it does give you exemption from the SII diploma investment analysis module..... If that helps....

    Here be the email... Dear sirs, I have passed the CFA organisations IMC exam. I was thinking of enrolling for the certificate in securities and financial derivatives. Could you tell me if the IMC gives me exemption from unit 1 ( the regulatory unit) of the aforementioned SII certificate? Thanks...

    Regi Rep or SII cert?

    Having done the IMC, (I am working as a fund analyst at the moment) would I be better doing the SII certs or waiting to get into a company that can sponsor me through the regi rep? Do the SII certs enable me to do anything that I can't already do with the IMC?:smart:
