I like trading the ftse and the eur/usd, its not automated but I look at several tools to help me read the market intraday. I am also from machester and dont mind meeting up.

i think there's not may traders in manchester, mostly london based i assume... there's so many events for traders, all london based... what markets are you interested in? maybe we can start a meeting however small..

colin are you after intraday sector analysis or end of day? there are ways to analyse sectors intraday for relative strength/weakness.

In terms of market internals like tick,trin, a/d volume and adv/dec issues you can construct them using a package called neoticker, a market breadth tool package. For the ftse100 You need to specify the 100 stocks or maybe the ftse 350 stocks for a better representation. TickQuest Inc...
