    Who Are You?

First of all it's a great post, the answer to this question is paramount to us when we are taking on board new traders. We think that if each trader knows himself he will be able to find the underlying instrument that best suit his/her own personality. A trader, like a soldier must understand...

Cornixforex made the point, loving your losses as much as your winning trades implied to treat them equally on an emotional stand point.

It just depends on the way you trade for scapling you usually do not pile up, for instance you will close one contract at 2/3 ticks so to pay for comms and then you will keep the rest for the the move up to the target. You need to find the number of contracts you feel comfortable with. And in an...

    Learn to Love your Losses

I agree with you cornixforex, Sometimes you do not accept the loss to not admit you are wrong and trying to avid them you make them bigger. If in some way as a trader we are able to accept them we will treat each trade as one in a series not just the one trade. I hope this post can help people...

    Learn to Love your Losses

Thank you Nigel, this was exactly the purpose of the thread, each of us has a different perception about his/her losses, and sharing our self assessment . The use of the word LOVE was used to indicate a state completely different from the anger that usually arises. Being unemotional is the goal...

    Learn to Love your Losses

Researching and learning is everything, you make your luck. For sure Tudor Jones, and a lot of other traders are better than myself, i was sharing with you what I have learned in more than a decade working in the industry. Each one of us has his/her own view and what works for me cannot work for...

    Time for Fishing

You are perfectly right, but one thing is volatility and one thing is gambling, with triple witching and greek election on friday the trades were a low probability ones. Because investors were placing bet on european outcome, in that case you would have been better off betting with william hill...

    Time for Fishing

Thank you for the question, my point is that in a sound plan, each one of us must specify what conditions have to be met to not trade. Ie trading the friday before the Greece election weekend was just betting, which is different from trading. It was a post made to let people think about their...
