Any users of Updata please feel free to add comments, suggestions, views, problems, tips to this link....

I use Updata Trader and would be pleased the share the small knowledge I have on this trading tool.

Whilst I have had my problems with this software (Divide by zero crashes) the latest version (build 180) is ok for my purposes. All I want from it is a display of the up to date prices, news and an onscreen real time portfolio valuation.

Other than displaying the shares held the portfolio function is awful. The analytics are not bad though.

I would not use this to trawl for candidates but happily use it on a daily basis.

Never tried synergy so cannot compare. I would welcome a reasoned analysis from the Doc, mine no longer crashes.
