Automated rules

Hey all,

I have never worked with Automated Trading but just wanted to know if it is possible to get the system (I use AT Pro with City Index) to give you an "ALERT" if your entry rules are met and if so:
- where is that done?
- how is that done?
- how do you attribute it to say a forex pair?

Hey VicZA, I don't know about other automated trading platforms, but with the one I use, called Capitalise, you can make a strategy that is just "If EURUSD is above the moving average email me" so that the platform will just email you when your condition(s) is/are met. You also have to set the parameters of the moving average (number of bars, bar period, and bar price) and sign up. The nice part is that it's free. Once you have an account, you can also get browser and/or desktop notifications. So yeah I think it's worth checking out https://www.capitalise.ai/
