MVA Cross

I have been using an MVA cross over system that has been working for me for quite some time. The nice thing about it is that trailing stop below the one MVA manages my risk perfectly except for the fact that I get whipsawed on every singly move, thus failing to run the whole move and sometimes result in losses. Can anybody point me in to a direction where I might be able to avoid this?

hi victor,

first, good to see someone else using moving averages !!

second, what MAs a re you using ?

when the cross-over gets close to the actual price, that usually is a signal that you are actually in a trading range, I find.

Under those circumstances, have you tried 3 consecutive CLOSES above or below the line to trigger a signal ??

without knowing the specifics, I can only offer a general sugggestion.

hope this helps.
