A question about MetaTrader

Has anyone faced with such a problem, when you are trading and suddenly, GBP goes down for 800!!! pip in 3 hours? I mean, what the hell is it?? Such things have ruined my account 3 times already... Meanwhile, I've solved my problem with EA. At least some stable income is day to day going to my account. Check it out in my signature...

2. To answer your question: It sounds like you either have a broker that is giving you spikes all the time, or you should think about using a stop. Even if your fill will be worse than you planned due to rapid market movements, it shouldn't wipe you all out. However, since the beginning of the year I only see gbpusd going down as much as you said seldomly. It's a broker issue (even though your 3h description of price falling makes that unlikely) or you have to manage your risk better.
