Hey All.

I would like to offer members of T2W the opportunity to come to the Bloomberg London HQ.

We are looking to showcase the Bloomberg software to a number of private investors and those working in trading arcades.

If you are interested to learn more about what Bloomberg can do for you and how it can benefit your trading activity please drop me an email with your contact details. We may also be able to provide you with a 1 month free trial for you to test the software.

Bit of background on Bloomberg:

Bloomberg is a multi asset class platform providing you market data in the following sectors:

Along with data, the Bloomberg Professional® provides access to all the news, analytics, communications, charts, liquidity, functionalities and execution services that you need to put knowledge into action.
Find out why the Bloomberg Professional is the leader in financial information across industries, and across the world.

I have a 5 star rating but I have not been contacted by one person, surely some individulas would be keen to get their hands on bloomberg for a month?

Hi Jonathan Paul,

How much would you charge to retail, non-professional investors for a monthly subscription to Bloomberg Professional?

Thanks,

Stopped

Hey Stopped, Bloomberg works on a one price for eveyone model, if you want to discuss please give me a call on 0203 216 4309 or drop me an email at [email protected]

The offer for a demo and 1 month trial is still open to all individuals.

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply and for your kind offer, but I guess there is no point in trying it if I am not going to subscribe to it. I have a feeling that whatever that unique price is, I am going to be unable to afford it for the time being. Perhaps after a few years of successful trading...

All the best,

Stopped

Will you come out to arcade?

Used to work in finsbury square till a month or so, then we moved, would have been very convenient...

Of course, more than happy to pop along and meet with you and show you what we have, can we speak first to discuss what your up to.

Send me your details - [email protected] and I will give you a call this afternoon.

Hi John,

Is your offer for a trial and demo of Bloomberg still valid?

And does this cover CDSs?

Regards,
Bipin

Not a lot of interest is there ?

I watch the TV channel sometimes and yes the news stories are quite interesting. The girls are yummy esp. Maryam, Betty, Andrea etc.
I don't suppose you want a word of advice but I will give it anyways. I was thinking back and couldn't remember making a single penny from all that TV coverage. May I suggest that instead of just covering the news and letting the audience try and work out what indices, stocks it will affect and how much but gear the commentary to investing in xyz until .....i.e. making money for the punter, with the usual caveats of course !
A quantum leap over the competition !!

Do you really only just see Bloomberg as a TV channel?

What person in their right mind would make money from what is said on TV?

Thats like picking up a stock pick in the evening standard, once those guys call something the movement has well and truely happened.

Can I just ask what your strategy is and what you trade.

It might be worth just giving you some information on what a Bloomberg terminal can actually do for you.

I trade the S&P 500 cash using the usual tools of trends, s&r etc
I use a sb platform - simple but adequate.

What else does Bloomberg offer ?

Pat you don't need Bloomberg lol.

I've only had one go of a terminal but it's full of analytical tools you don't need and probably wont know how to use. Actually, I doubt there are many people that can (or need to) use the bulk of the functionality for intra-day pip grabbing. They'll relieve you of about a bag a month for the privilege of access too.

Dunno what the news/data service is like though. Never got a chance to look at it properly. Pretty good I imagine.
