MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 ?

Hello, dear traders. I only study trade on Forex. Prompt, it is better to select platform MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5? :rolleyes:
 
I heard from the acquaintance, that the fifth version of the terminal is worse. And you as consider?
 
I've only heard good about the MT5, but still I'm very happy with the MT4, so for me, there is no need to move. The best thing to do is open a demo with both platforms and give them a test drive.

Both have poor language capabilities but MT5 is supposed to support object-oriented programming if that is useful for you...
 
It's never wise to jump into new technology on the first couple versions in my opinion. I'm MT4 but will go to MT5 once all the Ants-in-their-pants traders test it out for me :eek:
 
Testing on Metatrader 5 includes a lot more data with my broker. I wonder if it uses the same tick data? Maybe I could swap it to my MT4 folder...
 
as far i know they don't have big variations in currencies pairs on MT5 yet :confused:
