Hi all,

I would ask advise about what ou think is the % usage of Bloomberg or Reuters desktop functions.

I think a dealer, broker, trader use no more than 30% of potential of such a desktop. Many software or application that are paid separately could be avoided by a more in depth knowledge of that terminals. For example Superderivatives...

What do you think ?? What applications or provider could be canceled by a better use of Bloomberg / Reuters terminals ??

But the problem with picking BBG over SuperD is that you can't guarantee the pricing is as good. Whether or not you know how to use either / both isn't the key point there.

Just one example.

But having said that I agree in general terms - there's not a lot you can't do on a bloomberg these days.

I know that probably 30 % is too much as a na average, but someone uses BBG terminal at full potential.

That's the point, I would like to know better how a full usage fo such a terminal could improve performance of a Financial Market Dept.. First of all I think that if I get a better usage I could cancel other softwares, applications, news and analysis provider, such as Superderivatives, Tradermade, etc...Please suggest other competitor..

That would mean save money !! In such a period is very important.

What do you think ??
