Extra Monitor (Help Needed)

Got a screen today to optimize my trading system. The screen works fine but when I open MT4 platform I don't know what to do to separate the charts or make the chart a stand alone window or what ever it is I need to do to see two full charts at the same time. Please help. Thank you

It is not possible to detach a chart from MT4 and drag it to a second monitor unfortunately. This would be a good suggestion to send over to Metaquotes for MT5.

My best suggestion is to install MT4 into multiple folders on your computer. Each installation can manage one session and trade 1 account independently from the other. So open a second instance with a demo on your second monitor to have a second chart open.

If you have MT4 maximised then press the button to the left of the red 'X' at the top right of the screen so that it is not maximised.

Then, with the mouse manually increase the size of the MT4 window so that it spans both screens.

Likewise make sure your chart is NOT maximised within the MT4 window. You can then resize your chart to fit onto one screen and open another chart(s) to fit within the other.

I have MT4 working across 4 monitors with 8 charts displayed.
