Bug in metastock pro fx - be careful

If you enter a trade at the close of a bar with a predetermined stop level, the software will stop you out if any part of the bar is through the stop level. In other words, you can be stopped out on a price which occurred BEFORE you put the trade on. I've spoken to Metastock about this .... they say they are aware of the issue and are woring on a fix. Just be careful !

I may well be way off course with this response as I don't have a Pro FX version of MetaStock and also do not use the EST but try coding the Stop Level and use a Strategic Delay of 1 bar as this may help.

Thanks. This company is ridiculous. I think an earlier version of Metastock is one of the programs used for this revealing paper
