on what instruments, if you dont mind me asking? presumably you arent just using it as a chart? Do you execute or trigger anything through Matlab? the application seems to be incredibly versatile.

No, I don't execute anything directly from Matlab, although I know it's possible in theory.
I use it on all sorts of fixed income instruments.
