Need help programming a Custom Indicator in IBs TWS

I'm looking for someone who can create me a very simple Moving Average based custom indicator for use with IBs Trader Workstation charts.

I can define exactly what I need, but unfortunately don't have the Java skills to program it.

I'm happy to pay for your time if you're able to help me out.

As far as I know you cannot add customs indicators to the TWS – you will need to use some other 3rd party application to use own indicators. You can have a look at Ninja-Trader (Futures, Forex and Equities Trading Platform. NINJATRADER. Leading Edge Online Trading Platform.) or my TradeProject (Start: TradeProject) and check if they can do what you want?

You can indeed create custom indicators in TWS charts. See the attached file copied from TWS Help.

As it's something so simple I'm after, I don't really want another product on top of TWS.

you're right - I was not aware of this. But anyway - I'm sorry, but I'm not a Java guy ;( I can help you if you need some help with C or C++.
Maybe someone else here in the forum may help you out here.

You would have a much easier time using Medved's quote tracker for indicators. Connect Quote tracker through IB's TWS API for charts. Its much easier to write indicators in Quote tracker than TWS... which is a bad platform. Shame on IB for providing bad tools for trading.
