What Trading, Charting And Investment Software ???

Hi everyone.
I'm looking for some EOD trading and charting software.I'm trying to choose between Sharescope plus £32 or E-signal on demand £20. Or Gecko track'n trade; Sierra chart, Ninja trader. On Sharescope I can't do back testing.I also need EOD from CBOT,CME,NYBOT.
What would you recommend ?

Otherwise I would highly recommend Amibroker with your own data source.

What's the difference between Esignal on demand and ProRealTime ?(except the price).

With ProRealTime, Backtesting is possible BUT only on a single security. If you intend to trade a Portfolio of stocks, then this form of Backtest is IMO pretty useless, although a number of charting packages still only offer this type of backtest.

Amibroker in comparison has more features than you will probably ever use. It is an extremely powerful package and IMO is a complete bargain for the money when compared to other charting packages.

ESignal I can't comment on as I've never used it.

Download NinjaTrader, its free and fully functional for advanced charting, analytics and system development/backtesting. Set up a connectino to Yahoo (instructions below) which provides you with free historical EOD data....
