Hi Ozzie

I probably have said some things that appear on Martin's website, but I am not just repeating things he has said, I just agree with some of the things he is trying to achieve. also the comments were becoming a bit 'one sided' & felt some people were missing the point a little.

yes I took the software with the intent of evaluating it but I had so many technical difficulties at the time I only managed to run it for 2-3 days out of the 2 months with about the same number of trades. I am keeping a close eye on the site now & maybe will retry it eventually.

I Do agree with some of the comments u have made & your comments r valid as u have trialed the software, the strategy has become a little complex & is still open to some interpretation. I believe PATs strength is in the software itself & how it presents information, for example, the strategy I use for entry & exit on trades is presented very clearly with PAT & it has the ability to track trading ranges automatically ( something I could have done with this morning as I forgot to put it in :-((.

trading is difficult, & I guess coming up with the 'perfect strategy ' to suit everyone is just as difficult. yes I guess there r still flaws to be ironed out......& it would never suit everybody anyway.

I just believe it to be a step forward in many respects & deserves some support.

& people will only continue with it if it works for them, & if it does then it has served them well

I would be interested to know, from anyone, how well any of these systems operate in reality assuming, of course, that anyone has ever purchased any of them. If the code is written for Omega then the format should be the same as one I have posted on here before which I attach again for those who may not have seen it before. So I ask anyone who has used this to attach a performance summary similar to this one.

Haven't used this software, Martin himself seems to have emigrated to NZ> He is responsive. I did his trading course in 1999 in Spain and thought it was value for money and the method worked. He traded live with real money via a broker, he did two trades on the course, one to demonstrate a losing trade (he said in advance it would lose) and showed why. he then did another which he believed had a high probability of winning and it did. the mechanics of his original system (the basis for PAT I believe ) used an inside bar on EOD data as a setup day and trades were executed next day. The method was a break out method.

He always struck me as genuine and some of the testimonials on his site came from people who were on the same course as me, and as I wasn't represented there I have always assumed they were genuine.

Can't vouch for PAT itself though, and the price seems less than 500 a month. There is an online PAT course you can take to check out the mthod for 150 gpb, which is a slightly cheaper way to assess it. You can then lease the software for 500 for three months. So its reasonably low cost to try it out.

Hi All

Martin Cole comes across as a very genuine guy... I have been a member for 3months now and the support is second to none. Emails are answered within hours (beware of the time zone difference) He has offered 1 on 1 telephone support if needed to me.

I have done his online course, the upshot is on costs is that there is a rebate on the course if you use the PAT trading software at a monthly lease of £197 (price as of Oct 2009).... so it works out with the training and the software lease approx £200 month / 10 pounds per trading day.

Well how’s it gone.... no bull its been a personal rollercoaster of highs and lows.

What martin has I think is unique... in his no nonsense style and his PAT software.

I will tell you now if you are looking for a quick fix way to trading Forex.... FORGET IT.

Ive done most of the quick fix Forex make money for no effort schemes and lost a small fortune

It will take you time and effort to get to grips with martins system, even though it is so blindingly simple you may not see the wood for the trees.... It’s not his system that you will struggle with it’s your own weaknesses etc etc.

Im there now! At last!

Making money slowly but surely...

My biggest mistake was... I was recently made redundant and was looking feverishly for a life line and wasted time and money on the quick fix merchants.

You need to be prepared to be able to take your time and learn.... that costs money... I think you need to be able to fund yourself to about £1000 over a period of months to give you the ‘Fat’ to give you time enough to learn without pressure.

Well thats from the horse’s mouth.... given the chance to do his course again I defiantly would.

BUT BE PREPARED TO WORK AT IT.

All the very best

very good review Terry. I have been looking at his software and course for ages, but I am still on the fence as I simply don't know if I want to spend the $200 per month at present. I would be curious to see what results you are yielding from his strategies. Also can you tell me what TF you trade his system with? I am looking at day trading at the moment.

But what does this software actually do? You know, something tangible (as opposed to waffle).
