I have signed up for the subscription version of MetaStock EOD 10.1 with a European data feed...still on trial...just.
Downloaded it...fine.
Installed it...fine.
Minor issues with US stocks on Reuters rather than the ordered European stocks - excellently sorted by William at the LiveDesk. Customer Service is truly excellent. Despite this plea for help, I mean that.
Can't Update Stock Symbols. DLWin says "Patch Attempt Failed" or I get a message which says "ERROR: Invalid Patch File C:\Program Files\Equis\TheDownloader\SYM101COMMON.RTP".
What does this mean and how do I solve it?
Apart from this I have had a great day playing with a mixture of local and live data. It is a nice programme.
