HI ALL

I have been using esignal for 6 years now, and the price started from £70 PM, usually paid annuallly, now this re-newal nearing near £300 a month (excluding news market / exchange fees) and that's paying annually for market future, I am well accustomed to esignal, but now I do not want to pay such price, whereas in US they charged only $350, I spoke to a rep in the USA. They used to charged in $ for everyone, but now they have UK price, you guys know about rip-off Britain.

I am testing a few platform, but none are as good as esignal though. Any recommendation out there. I do not mind spending spending up to £400, but not with Esignal as I am unhappy with such hikes.

Proprietary platform from a few Futures Brokers firm are not top notch, as I am testing few at the moment. Need a new platform from October

Thanks in advance

So you're happy to pay more for something that is worse simply because the product which you say yourself is best has become more expensive?

That makes about as much sense as a chocolate tea pot to me.

well, if you read what I say £300 exluding news market and all exchange fees, and thats add about nearly £470, cheaper than £400, I am willing to pay, and where did I say I want something worse for higher price? Do you think I am muppet? I need some recommendation for top notch platform.

Paying more is not the real issue, it's about being ripped off now ( I do not like this attitude), they charged $350 in the USA for the same things, I had a chat with US REP, and it used to be the same price for everybody as we were all paying in $. Sure their product is superior, hence I used them for six years, as you can see from my posts they used to be £70. It takes time to test these platforms, and I heard read tradestation is quite similar. Do you have recommendation or not? or just having a dig?

I think enough is enough of just hikes

eSignal include the "WinSig.exe" applications in data processing at the request of problems, remote attacker could use this loophole to buffer overflow attacks, likely to compromise on the system to execute arbitrary commands.

Wasn't having a dig - Sorry if it came across like that. I didn't realise you meant up to £400 for everything rather than £300 that excludes news and exchange feeds. Now that I've understood that what you're doing makes sense.

You said yourself you've been unable to find something that's as good which implies you'd be paying for something worse - regardless of how much you're paying. Because of the aforementioned ambiguity I got the impression that you just wanted to stick one to esignal because you were unhappy with their pricing discrepancies between here and the US rather than being concerned with getting the best value for money.

Now that I've explained myself I'll leave this be as I've nothing I can recommend. Wish you all the best in finding a service you're happy with.

From what you mean is this, I say to you:

In any case, or am glad to know you.

sunseeker888,

I would recommend TradeStation. It is comparatively equal to e-signal in quality/features. The problem will be you being that it only have EU indices. So if you trade EU stocks or other symbols you might be out of luck. I am looking to MultiCharts right now. This is the competition of TradeStation, with them you need a datafeed (Esignal) so for the same price that TS but you would still have to pay the datafeed. If you have any indicators/strategies then you would need to translate them. MC and TC uses EL language which is very popular.

I was looking to Esignal a month ago because I wanted to have EU/Asian stocks but I have not made the move due to the learing curve of another language. In my case I was going to use both but I went into the forum and I read some about the many problems with release 10 of Esignal. I am seriously thinking on MultiCharts with an ESignal datafeed for those markets.
If you decide TS there are few restrictions you will encounter. For example in tick charts you can only refer to one data symbol (no arbitrage) but if you use minute charts you can have as many as you want. There are no RangeCharts yet but I believe they are in ESignal (A feature that uses have been beging for years). I am just trying to point some of the challenges on moving from one platform to another.

???? I'm UK based, my eSignal remains priced in USD, with Eurex data feed only I pay about $110 p/m.
