I need a charting software where I can customize my system can I do this with metatrader? I trade with GFT can I just use the software and not have to open an account?

Hi, I've just started using MT4 and have a very basic question as FXpro wont provide support to demo users.
Quite simply, I cant see how to reload charts that I've added drawing items to? Its supposed to reload your saved chart and then sppol the latest market data to it but I just get the latest chart. Maybe its not an option available to Demo accounts?

it doesnt save any lines you draw on MT-4.
one method is to save your drawn lines as a "template".
then when you reload your chart, you load the template, it will then carry over your drawn lines.
I had the same problem when doing my Delta Phenomenon lines, and I saved my lines by saving as a template.

Thanks Trendie, though the manual does suggest you can save them i.e. under chart opening:-
"History data used for drawing of charts are stored on the hard disk. At opening of a chart, the data are downloaded from the disk and the last missing data are spooled from the trading server."
