global server start problem

i m using tradestation 2000i. after installing service pack 4 updates i still cannot start Global Server. the icon just wount react. any ideas?

Can you restore your pc to an earlier date and then see if GS works. If it does try installing update 5 which you can get here or you could try installing update 5 anyway but I would try the restore option first.

updates error

downloaded sp5 update but keep getting error when trying to apply it. "The decompression of %s faled. There may not be enuf disk space available in Temp directory" . wierdest thing really. any ideas?

I vaguely remember this problem.
After installing a service pack there is stuff left lying around in temporary areas. So when you run another SP afterwards there is less room to run it.
I think the solution is to empty your cache using internet explorer or it might be to go into the temp directory and delete what's there.
If my memory improves I'll post again
