Hi All

No doubt a controversional question, but can people please shed any experience on the above trading software....

Many thanks

Nick

I thought "dont tell the professionals" was a book by keith cotteril, not a peice of trading software.

at least, the book I have by that name does not feature any software

This looks like a scam to me. Every scam website has the same layout design =)

If you have 20 minutes a day and an Internet
connection, I'll show you how to make £5,000 a
month as an ‘online pickpocket’...

Sure...

Don't fall for that.

I assume you are referring to this lot: http://www.donttelltheprofessionals.co.uk/ .

I wouldn't trust anyone who organises their website on this classic "suck-you-in-and-sell-it-hard" format.

Or starts with comments like "Give me 5 minutes, and I’ll show how YOU TOO could be raking in a potential £30,000 - £60,000 a year
TAX FREE from this clever little money-maker.
(All you need is 20 minutes a day, an Internet connection…and the desire to dip your sticky fingers into a multi-billion pound honey pot!)"

Yeah right.....

http://www.trade2win.com/boards/showthread.php?p=329943#post329943 has some discussion , refers to DTTP abbreviation.

Fantastic chutzpah to run a website like that. Wish I had the nerve, or lack of conscience.

I like the fact that all the way as you scroll though it, it's a 'free' 45-day trial, and then right at the end you need to give your CC details for a £2k+ charge, which will be refunded if not completely satisfied. Yeah right.

It's actually not that bad!! It's marketed via Streetwise, who are very reputable. I sent off for it about 6 months ago, after parting with my £2000+. As I said, it wasn't too bad.

I sent it back within the stipulated time and got back my money within 2 working days.

Over the years I've sent off for quite a few of these courses, and always sent them back and got my money back. I've never kept any of them. Learned a fair amount I think. I got that one by that ski instructor, sent it back, got my money back. Got that Vantagepoint rubbish years ago, sent it back, got my money back.

DTTP was the last one I got, and I've decided that I don't need to get any more. None of them contain the Holy Grail!! However, DTTP taught me about IMPLIED VOLATILITY, which I'd not come across before.

My attitude whilst learning about trading was to keep an open mind as far as possible, and glean information from as many sources as possible WITHOUT PARTING WITH ANY MONEY!!

Even now when I believe I have a winning strategy, I still read web sites like this, and attend the odd free web seminar, just in case I pick up a "gem" which I can add to my strategy.

Over the years I've found that having a "know nothing" attitude is superior to having a "know it all" attitude. I listen and read as much as possible, and talk as little as possible!

give me 5 mins a day

shoot...........dont know about 5 mins a day to pocket a bit of wonga but i once traded just as greenspan,,,,,oh yes my old mate greenspan,,,,made his lets get that daytradingworks chap in london. i traded and before i could put the phone on its rack i had dropped 250,000 USD.that was around 5 secs.

unfortunately for us the drivers that make it attractive to us also drive greed which in turn tends to attract alot of ''experts'' who are expert in the wordsmith department not trading department.
