Hey,
i hear e signal has a feature where you can replay a day as it would of unfolded. Was just wondering if anyone else offered this, or if it would be possible to use this feature without getting the whole esignal package...

Many thanks

Kevin.

Sierra Charts provides replay.

And they are pretty good. You can replay pretty much any time period and also speed it all up if you are watching a longer timescale..

Amibroker do replay, but (unless you wanted just EOD - free from Yahoo) you would have to link it to a data provider. They link to several data providers and brokers feeds. Package is around $180.

hmm interesting.... i trade through interactive brokers, so if i just hook to their data feed i'll get the play back option?

I'm using SierraChart with MyTrack as the data provider.

In Canadian dollars, I pay $20/month for SierraChart (lvl2 membership) and $50/month for MyTrack (real-time nyse and amex entitlements are a dollar each). If you want real-time CME data for ES, it's an extra $10.

i need realtime data for most north/south american markets, europe and asia. Teaching my old man to trade at the moment, but i made the mistake of putting him on his own live account. I want something for him to practice on, and this market replay looks like what i'm after

I use Interactive Brokers with Sierra charts and the replay function is pretty good.
Here is a link to Sierra's fee structure.
