Charting Software

Guys & Girls - just wondering what software everyone uses? I've used CQG in the past - feel its a little expensive now. Anyone know of a good one for UK stocks?

Take a look at Amibroker. This requires only a one-off payment of around $180. If you only want EOD charts then it has an interface to Yahoo finance which is free. Alternatively it accepts feeds from several of the well-known data providers. It has a quite comprensive formula language and you can see its user manuals and formula manual (AFL) by just going to their site. They also have a yahoo user group for swapping code
