'Disconnect' software ?

when I'm running broker order entry software and it disconnects
as well as other internet software
is there any software that monitors such connections and
determines where, why and how a disconnection occurred ?

forex factory
had a bug last week , but they seem to have fixed it but cmc disconnected a few times
I ran virus scan , nothing there ,
now running ok

I had a problem recently where my broadband kept getting dropped but re-connected straight away. I updated the router/modem software to the latest version and it seems to have fixed the problem.

the answer is apparently no.

Trader333, you choose, however the question's related to traders reporting 'deliberate'
disconnection by their forex broker.

The reason I asked is that I developed a program that would automatically reconnect you to IB if your connection was somehow lost.

also there's probably more IB users on http://www.elitetrader.com/
plus don't IB have a developers page/s where you can also post
