Scanning realtime

I want to be able to scan a list of stocks on a real time basis for certain criteria such as a rising/falling EMA over the last so many bars. It would have to be able to auto refresh. This is to save me endlessly scrolling manually. The criteria wouldn't be complex.

Does anyone know a software package that could do this, without too much fussy programning? I'm aware of ProRealTime, whose main drawback is only allowing one chart to be open at a time.

I'm pretty sure SierraChart and Quotetracker can't scan in real time; but I'm not sure about Metastock or Tradestation or Amibroker.

Maybe there are others.

Excel would be fine if I had any idea how to use it. I've tried, countless times, but even the simplest application defeats me.

My advice would be Prorealtime.

I know you can only open one chart at a time but I use it strictly for scanning. It updates dynamically so once the scan is run you don't have to touch it again.

Get a cheap feed like IB or IQ and a charting package like Quotetracker.
