Focus on all 3 Ms
It's a classic text which you will see quoted often on this site as a recommended read.
I think that the most important point in the book is the consideration of the three M's:
- Mind
- Method
- Money Management
I suspect that most people, when starting out, are primarily looking at the second one only - Method, focussing on the Technical analysis.
If the book can get you to focus on the other two, then it has done its job.

Dr. Elder's plug-in
Hi 78patron,
On the Equis website you are offered a 30 days trial; you might as well take it.
However in the various MS user groups that I have visited, some of Dr. Elder strategies are already posted , ie., the different indicators/explorations are there already written for you.
I suggest that you visit them, try them, if necessary take on the 30 days trial for the plugg-in, and decide on that basis.
For some reason I haven't found anything about that plug-in, either good or bad! Makes you wonder if anybody is actually buying it!
