Backtesting in Excel

I'm trying to backtest a strategy in excel and am having difficult in designing it

It for a cable system and i have test data for 15 min timeframes and the trade would be held for possible 1 hr +

I know what i want to do

Does anyone have a spare excel testing template they could let me have ?:

Can you write VBA?

Without knowing what you want to do it is difficult to help.

I personally write a snippet of code everytime I want to test something.

Define "backtest" . . . do you mean "look for the optimum set of parameters" or "how would my (alreadt defined) system have done"

I've started doing some VBA - I have the system in my head and on paper
and its goin thru the actual data

its a simple one based on a 8,13,9 macd and %WR

nothing more exotic than that
