MetaTrader ploting a chart

Hi,
Im looking into get some software to test out some systems i have come up with but i require the ability to create custom charts (candelstick/OHLC). Im assuming metatrader supports reading data, x bars back, from a specific pair and being able to plot it in different styles?

If so, does anyone know of any code samples which could get me started?
