Why do you want a 3rd party vendor and which datafeed are you hoping to use ?

Paul,

To answer your two part question, the first being easy, "which datafeed are you hoping to use?"

eSignal

The second part of the question "Why do you want a 3rd party vendor?"

Omega and eSignal do not support any updates to the interface from eSignal to TS 2000i.

The purpose of my post, is that the Global Server, in real time only updates if there is a price change. And does not update if the time stamps are different and the prices are the same.

This leads me to the question for the need of a 3rd party vendor, is to correct this.

The global server updates every time it is sent a transaction so it is really down to the interface software.
If the feed sends trades with the same price and different timestamps these will be correctly represented in the GS as different transactions.

Please notice the second screen shot, I hope this will explain, the real time should appear as the historical data.

Does the solution have anything to do with in my case, Omega Prosuite 2000i:
View/ChartOptions/Symbol check or not:
'Show empty daily trading periods' and 'Show empty intraday trading periods'.

Try setting your PC clock to the exchange time, if you are experiencing data gaps.
